Start. One portfolio items added per week.
I’m using goodstand.com for a portfolio site of my representative work. I’ve never made it a priority, though, so it hasn’t been very helpful. I’m trying to be realistic and say I will add at least one portfolio item per week.
Start. One new screencast added per week.
I’ve had goodlearning.com for years, and never really did anything valuable with it. I love to show people how to do things, and I think I can do a better job of screencasting than a lot of other folks out there. I had started wordpresscity.com to do WordPress-specific screencasts, but I don’t really want to limit myself to just WordPress topics.

- 2009-11-17: One Americano from Aroma when I got downtown in the pouring rain; another for lunch with Marc.
- 2009-11-18: Americano in the morning, then a couple at home.
- 2009-11-19: Latte at home in the morning, Americano in the afternoon.
- 2009-11-20: Americano at Aroma for starters.
- 2009-11-21: Couple lattes at home.
- 2009-11-22: Three lattes at home before noon.

Daily progress on Data Genie
2009-11-16: I documented the schema for a new bids posting system in Codeigniter. This is to be a smaller project to help me get a good feel for how Codeigniter works.
2009-11-18: I installed the whole development environment to a USB key. I also got two more tables defined. Really, it’s time to start working on the code.

I’m just leaving this heading to sit here. I’ll be working hard on Data Genie, Math, and a few other things that will not leave me time for the novel for awhile.
